กThe Phuket Marine Biological Center (PMBC) under the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources in cooperation with educational institutes and relevant organizations hold the 2010 Marine Science Conference under the topic “Thai Marine Biodiversity: Obstacles and Opportunities” on 28-30 June at the Royal City Hotel, Phuket Province.

The activities during those 3 days are full of knowledge from research result oral/poster presentation of more than 140 different issues concerning the marine science namely the Marine and Coastal Resource Conservation and Management, Aquaculture, Marine Organism Community, Rare Marine Species, Pollution, Shoreline Erosion Problem, and Geographic Information System Application to Coastal Conservation and Management. More than that, there will be a special lecture from experts from Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Denmark.
